Dressing your children from a problem to a pleasure! You just have to learn how to sew! We love our babies and want them to have the best!
This is a 2-in-1 course: you will learn to work with both knitwear and “regular” fabrics.
Difficulty level:
1 out of 5 – very easy! One of the easiest courses due to the fact that the first module is knitted.
Age:
Sewing for children from 2 to 14 years old + learning how to make graded patterns for growing up!
Module 1:
Children’s clothing from knitwear (pants, sweatshirt, t-shirt, hooded snake bomber or beanies).
Module 2
Make patterns for dresses, pants and shirts – sew 2 or 3 items to choose from.
Duration:
1 month 3 weeks = 16 classes of 2.5 hours.
What you will sew during the course:
7 patterns, 6-7 items.
Pants, sweatshirt, t-shirt, bomber on a snake with a hood or hats from knitwear, as well as pants, shirt or dress from fabric.
What you will learn:
- understand the variety of knit fabrics;
- sew on a machine and overlock;
- calculate the necessary amount of fabric for different things;
- choose the right fabric;
- sew knitted fabric on a conventional machine;
- sew knitted fabric on an overlock and an overlocker;
- take measurements;
- find out what measurements children have and learn how to make grading patterns by size;
- construct patterns;
- model different styles of clothes;
- cut;
- sew zippers;
- make buttonholes;
- work the neckline and armholes;
- create different models of clothes from the pattern-basis;
- and much more.
How many people are in the group?
We always have 4 to 8 people in our groups, so that the teacher has time to work with everyone and you finish the course program.
